Prateek Pachauri

Prateek Pachauri is an Indian actor whose work spans Hindi-language films and streaming series. He made his feature-film debut in the comedy Chousar Firangi (2019) and gained wider recognition for his supporting performance in the Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok (2020). Pachauri continued to build his profile with the Nitesh Tiwari drama Bawaal (2023) and returned as Bittu Rehman in Season 2 of Paatal Lok (2025), earning praise for his portrayal of migrant labourers caught in systemic corruption. He is also slated to appear in SonyLIV's upcoming series Whistleblower.
Career
Breakthrough with Paatal Lok (2020-present)
In May 2020, Pachauri joined the ensemble cast of the crime thriller Paatal Lok, produced by Clean Slate Filmz, where his authentic regional-dialect portrayal supported the series’ gritty social commentary.<ref name"HTPaatalLok"/><ref name"EPW2021"/> Pachauri reprised his role as Bittu Rehman in Season 2 of Paatal Lok, released March 6, 2025, on Prime Video.<ref name"Decider"/> Critics highlighted its exploration of migrant-labour struggles, noting Pachauri's depiction as emblematic of the human cost of systemic corruption.<ref name"MadrasCourier"/>
