Popatlal is a fictional character in well known sitcom serial 'Taarak Mehta ka ooltah chashma'.The show is appears on Sony SAB TV channel in India. Fictional character biography Popatlal is a patrakar (journalist).He always keep his umbrella with him.He's underweight and funny character.he is originally from Bhopal,Madhya Pradesh.he is a newspaper reporter-journalist.He works in 'Tufan Express' a daily hindi newspaper.He live in 'Gokuldham society' at Goregaon in Mumbai, Maharashtra.Initally he was very negative guy and always interrupt by saying ' cancel, cancel, cancel' to cancel any event in society.he lives on 3 rd floor of Gokuldham popatlal leave alone at his flat with is umbrella, according to Popatlal his umbrella is his friend and family.He always carry his umbrella and once he celebrated birthday of his umbrella by throwing birthday bash.He is very stingy man.He prepare his food by own.He is very aggressive guy and he don't like if someone make fun because he's unmarried.He considered himself yong senior journalist.He have won a Golden crow award.He is searching wife.He many times thret peoples by saying 'Me dunya hila dunga' . He's member of society committee along with Iyyar,Atmaram Bhide (secretary of Gokuldham society).He don't have any family members, relatives but he consider Gokuldham society members as his family & friends. Personality Popatlal is a funny guy .he is skinny and underweight man.some times he feels lonely because he doesn't have life partner that's why he talk to his umbrella.he think his umbrella is living things and can understand his emotions.he always think about his marriage.he is hardworking guy and many times he work in his press at late night.He is stingy, he saves money. Always he pretends that his phone has no balance.
