Pop Minds is a German computer game that combines trivia with comedy. The game only features questions about the music business, crossing between the well-known computer game You Don't Know Jack (due to its spiteful satire) and the TV show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? (due to the constellation of the game rules).
Pop Minds is available in German language only. The CD-ROM was released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in October 2003 and received good reviews from the media.
Although there are 1,200 questions about the music business, pop culture, and today's music scene, the game also contains many comedic elements. "Pop Minds" is disguised as a TV show (similar to the You Don't Know Jack-series) and is "hosted" by Noah Sow (who became famous in Germany as a radio host for the radio station EinsLive of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk and as a judge in the TV show Popstars).
The game was created and written by Jamie Stevens, an independent German pop singer, whose knowledge about the music business would be enough for 10 versions of "Pop Minds."
