Pokemon Clover

Pokémon Clover is an upcoming role-playing video game developed by members of the 4chan board /vp/. Clover is a FireRed ROM hack fangame of the with modified characters, dialogue, maps and pokemon.
It is sometimes seen as a counterpart of Pokemon Sage, as the relaxed atmosphere of Clover's creators to designs/maps/pokemon contrasts sharply with the overly-stringent survey-based methods of design of Sage.
Gameplay
Pokémon Clovers gameplay is standard for the Pokémon series. However, it includes an entirely new Pokédex of 386 fan-made pokemon. The Starter Pokémon are the Grass-type Grasshole, the Fire-type Arabomb, and the Water-type Ejacasm.
Setting and plot
Pokémon Clover takes place in a fictional region called Fochun. It features the villainous Team Karma and debuts the Grass/Fire legendary pokemon Clovenix, which serves as the cover mascot. As it is a FireRed ROM hack, many of the locations and maps will look familiar. However, big changes to trainers, trainer dialogue and the pokemon bring a fresh experience to the table.
Development
The game's development began in 2014, when a group of Pokémon fans from /vp/, a board on the website 4chan dedicated to Pokémon discussion, decided to collaborate on a fangame. The development team of amateur rom hack enthusiasts worked together on developing a 150 pokedex, allowing submissions for concept art and sprites. The pokedex evolved from a mish-mash of pokemon concepts into a true ROM hack over the following months. A working beta was released recently, and the team continue to finalise items for the upcoming full-game release.
Popular pokemon from the Clover pokedex include ever-sleeping Ice/Rock-type Blobbos, the faith-loving Ground/Flying-type Caroline, and one of the original designs of the whole project - the Normal/Flying-type Upchucken.
