Franklin Olisa Emodi (Born 6 March 1992 ) in Onitsha Anambra better known professionally by his stage name plus FRANKLIN is a Ghanaian-based Nigerian singer, songwriter, composer and performer. His 2015 Hit Single BIKO was well received throughout Ghana barely 3 months after his Hit single "BIKO" he went on and dropped two more singles "Monica" and "Derico" which showed Africa and everyone that knew him how versatile he is as an Artist. Just like Mr Eazi he was controversially excluded in the Annual Ghana Music Awards in 2016 which was set to award only Ghanaian Citizens and him Being a Nigerian couldn't make the list of nominees Background plus Franklin Born 6 March 1992 to Engr. George and Stella Emodi, his father being an electrical engineer and his mother a business woman and also a Songwriter, composer and Vocal coach, he grew up in Onitsha where he received his elementary education (Holy Cross Nursery and primary school) and secondary education ( Christ the King College, Onitsha ) and went to Imo State University , Owerri to study mechanical engineering where he later dropped out after 2 years of study in 2010, finding out that he's admission into the institution was not legitimate, he decided to go into his music carrier full-time and relocated to Ghana where he got his record deal with his former record label "Shatte Empire" in 2013. Career beginning plus Franklin was previously signed to "Shatta Empire" where he dropped an "EP" titled "Falling for you" in 2013 which had singles like "Falling For You" , "Spending Money", "Down Low" ft his former label mate Streetbouy in it and after being excluded from the Ghana Music Awards in 2016, he left "Shatta Empire" based on mutual agreement citing the Label's negligence towards his carrier, he moved on in 2016 and established his current record label TNR MUSIC and dropped Hit singles like "Take Am Easy" and "Kilimanjaro" Under his current record label TNR MUSIC.
