Plaza Kota Tinggi

Plaza Kota Tinggi, commonly referred to as Gedung Harian, is a shopping mall along Jalan Mawai, in midtown in Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia, developed by Majlis Daerah Kota Tinggi. Apart from retail spaces, the development encompasses one Apartment block but it is has cancelled because has not getting approval by the District Council & have faced a financial crisis, was completed construction of the Plaza on last month of year 1999 & apartment on 2006 but has been delay.
History
Development of Plaza Kota Tinggi has fully completed structure construction on last month of the year 1999-2000. The Apartment Block Construction Began three years after completion of the construction this Plaza on 2003 .. After this apartment block was completed partially, Construction was to be delayed due to the financial crisis in Asia & did not getting the construction approval by the District Council and is considered dangerous. Until now this Apartment Block was be abandoned.

The tenants of Gedung Harian are a mixture of restaurants, a supermarket, a bookstore, a traditional medicine store, a computers and hardware store, cd and media store, Handphone & camera equipment store, gift & souvenir store, several small boutiques, hair salon, fabric shops and other smaller shops such as bakeries, newsagents, and optical shops. At Gedung Harian, Karaoke Contest at Plaza & Shuffle dance contest is held each year.

Opening hours are from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, seven days a week.
Restrooms, bureau de change, lifts, staircases and escalators.
Both indoor and outdoor parking facilities are available. The outdoor parking facilities are located in front & behind of the Plaza Kota Tinggi while indoor parking is also located in the basement of Plaza Kota Tinggi. Parking indoor rates is unknown but outdoor rates is free of charge. Autopay machines are located in the parking basement.
