Play Pirate

Play Pirate is a modern day term given to anyone who alligns themselves in the following manner : Life is an adventure to you. You believe your purpose in life is to experience it, and only you have the opportunity, the gift to experience it in your own way. Play Pirates are crafty, adventurous often leaving for trips on a whim. Their booty, or loot isn't money but experience. They believe in sailing their lives striving to expand their territority of sensation often trying things that fall outside mainstream society. Often very flirtasious, and bold, they are great to have as friends and collegies. They can be rude in the extreme at times, but you can always count on them to be there for you should you need assistance. Having said that they can also be very selfish, self-centered, and can, and often do, leave you in the lurch, mostly because they've run off for some new adventure. Often Play Pirates are afflicted with ADD which allows them to maximize their experience of their experience. Play Pirates are often allighed with another term Urban Monk first coined by One Taste an organization that teaches sensuality and orgasmic meditation.

Strangely Play Pirates have been known to go to great lengths to not acquire material possessions, for they consider material possessions deadweight and useless in their conquest of experience and their useless in their next evolution. Play Pirates have no religious continuity, coming from many faiths, or none at all. Many find organized religion a form of control, and control is one thing all play pirates rebel from. They are anarchists, yet often are also incredibly bright designers, artists, and engineers as well, but always designing for the expansion of the individual.

There's no dress code for Play Pirates, and the symbol is one that's been used for many other organizations. The symbol stands for the four senses: sight, smell, touch, and hearing. The circle surrounding them stands for the mind and heart able to think, feel, and assimilate the experiences.

Play pirates also follow the tradition of history's pirates in that they are often entrepreneurs, starting new ideas businesses, and working as hard as possible to remain outside of the man controlling system.

They are aggressive in supporting the rights of the individual, and consider the only sin in life to alter or get in the way of another's growth or their own.

source of the term Play Pirate was first termed by Leifur Thor an inventor and sensuality coach in 2008. Since then the term was coined, countless people have identified with this new type of way of life. Play Pirates to date don't have any events where they gather, and should one ever be created, it would be deemed a selling out by their populace, since Play Pirates celebrate the individual, not groups.
