Penny Loafers

The Penny Loafers was founded in 1986 as a co-ed a cappella group from the University of Pennsylvania focusing on pop and rock music. They have performed at many events around campus, throughout the East Coast, and most recently in Beijing, China at the Greenpeace International Charity Concert.
In existence for over 25 years, the Loafers have released ten studio albums and are currently working on their 11th, and have been featured on a cappella compilation albums such as Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) '99 and all the Voices Only 2005-2007 releases, and have appeared frequently on radio shows and podcasts from Coverville to the Acapodcast. to Pandora.com.
The Penny Loafers latest albums have been met with success. Prophets & Pawns was selected as an RARB.org Pick of '08. The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) placed the group's most recent album, The Cops Come At Midnight, in the Top 10 "Mixed Collegiate Albums" category.
