PBP Worldmeeting

The PBP Worldmeeting (World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology) is a scientific conference, that was organized for the first time in 1995 by the two associations International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology (APV - Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Pharmazeutische Verfahrenstechnik) and association de pharmacie galénique industrielle (apgi). Since 2006 the conference takes places every 2 years in different European countries. Beside APV and apgi since 2002 the association Associazione Docenti Ricercatori Italiani di Tecnologie e Legislazione (ADRITELF) has been one of the main organizers; numerous additional societies from all over the world are involved.
The PBP Worldmeeting has itself established as one of the most important conferences for the development and manufacturing of medicinal products in Europe. Scientists from all over the world - mainly employed in the pharmaceutical industry, at their suppliers and in academia - attend the event presenting recent developments and technologies in oral talks and posters.
