Payrexx

Payrexx is a meta payment service provider headquartered in Thun, Switzerland. The company was founded in 2014 and allows both private individuals and businesses to accept payments over the internet, in person and by payment link. The company offers a free version pursuing the vision to allow anyone regardsless of their knowledge and capital to sell physical goods and services online. Payrexx also provides its software as a white-label product via companies including PostFinance, Concardis, UBS, Credit Suisse, Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Ingenico, Paymill, Viveum, and Coinbase.
Approximately one year was spent to develop the software, which enabled the company to offer the software publicly in January 2015.
Technology
It is a cloud-based software and implements technology which allows merchants to connect several payment service providers to the software and use multiple payment methods by combining payment service providers. Merchants can register an account by choosing their account URL, providing basic information about their company and then select a payment service provider within the Payrexx account that they would like to use such as Paypal, Stripe, Braintree or other payment service providers. After choosing the payment service provider, the merchants can use software tools such as One Page Shop, Virtual Terminal and Pay by Link.
Awards
Payrexx was one of the three "Goldene Transaktion" award winners in Berlin at the conference "Payment Exchange 2017". The jury considered Payrexx because it merges e-commerce and e-payment processes for end users.
