Pawan Kumar Marut

Pawan Kumar Marut is an Indian television producer, film producer and director. He is the co-founder of the Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited production company.
His movie Pink grossed 50 crore in the first 10 days in India and ultimately grossed approximately 90 crore. It was appreciated by both the audience and the critics.
On 4 December 2016, Pink won the Best Film at the Star Screen Awards. The film was also invited for a special screening at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
Pawan's first TV show Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat which aired on Star Plus in 2008 ran all the way until 2010. His current popular shows are Saath Nibhaana Saathiya , Sasural Simar Ka and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki which have been doing very well. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Sasural Simar Ka are one of the longest running shows on Indian television with 1800+ episodes each. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Sasural Simar Ka are one of most hit shows of India as it has been on the top of TRP Chart many times.
