Paul Tran is a Vietnamese-American poet, activist and historian. Their work has appeared in magazines such as Poetry, The New Yorker, Boston Review and a Norton anthology. They received their MFA in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis. and is visiting faculty at Pacific University. They were a writing fellow at the Washington University in St. Louis. and the Kundiman Fellowship in 2017, among other awards. In 2021, they received a Fellowship in Literature from the National Endowment for the Arts. Currently, they are a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and their debut poetry collection, All the Flowers Kneeling, is forthcoming from Penguin Press in 2022.
