Paul Marazzi

Paul Leo Thomas Marazzi (born January 24 1975 in Wanstead, London) was a member of the British boyband A1. He grew up in the East End of London and in Hertfordshire, and moved to Benidorm in Spain when he was 18.

Paul showed interest in music from a very young age. His earlier preference was dance and loved to mimic Shaking Stevens. He went on to win a dance competition in London and was presented with a trophy from top recording stars Five Star. He joined Pineapple dance studios & Anna Sheers acting school in London.

In 1998 Paul answered an advert to audition for a band. He was the only successful candidate from over 2000 boys who were seen across the country.

Ben, Mark, & Christian later joined and formed the band A1. They went on to achieve two No.1’s & 8 top ten hits in the UK along with 4 albums. They achieved over 4million record sales.

Paul left the band in 2002. A1 collected a number of awards including a Brit Award in 2001. He spent a lot of time in The USA and worked with some good people. During this period he penned a number of songs… Whilst on holiday in Spain he met up with Paul Newby and discussed the possibility of forming a band.

Paul is now a member of a five piece band called Snagsby. At present the boys play a set including tracks by The Doors, Happy Mondays, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead and Jamiaroqui and much much more. The boys are also writing original material that will be included in the near future.
