Paul Brent Allen is an American businessman and entrepreneur and a former Global Strengths Evangelist for Gallup. In 1990, Allen founded Infobases, a fortune 500 company offering Latter-Day Saints publications on disks. Allen went on to cofound Ancestry.com, the largest genealogy company in the world, alongside Dan Taggart. Allen created Provo Labs, a startup incubator, which housed companies including 0Speed Media, LDS Media, MP3Books, and Funding Universe. Personal life Paul Allen graduated from Orem High School in 1983. Infobases, Inc. Founded in 1990, Infobases was named among magazine's 500 fastest-growing companies in 1994. Beginnings of Ancestry.com Ancestry.com was launched in 1996. |
