Paul Angles

Paul D Angles (born April 2, 1966) is a highly-strategic senior marketing professional.
Early life
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he grew up in Overland Park, Kansas US. His parents were immigrants from Cuba and he was the eighth of fourteen children. Paul graduated with a BA degree in Management from Rice University in 1988. He is a father of two children and currently live in Los Angeles.
Professional career
He started his professional career as an intern and soon became junior copywriter at one of the most prestigious advertising agency in the world Ogilvy & Mather Direct in 1987.
Created television, radio, print, and direct mail for Pioneer New Media, NGK, World Cup Soccer, and numerous other clients, while he was working as copywriter (1991-1994) for Dentsu America, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies and media companies.
As CEO for Big Media, Inc./BigBang.com (1996-2002), he founded and provided strategy and management for a dot-com advertising network. Personally awarded US Patents 5,933,811 and 6,385,592 for personalized, demographic targeting and pay-per-click advertising, later sold for $1.31 million. Big Media, Inc. or BigBang.com widely known as the first and only online network that delivered advertising based on user age, income, zip code, gender, purchase history, and other variables.
His name is familiar in the music industries, as the Director of Internet Marketing for Sovereign Artists, a record label, he created an unprecedented joint promotion between Microsoft and the file-sharing networks, to promote the rock band Heart’s album. He is also the Principal of Angles360, Inc., a marketing consultancy that provided innovative solutions to clients in a wide range of industries.
Publications
Angles created and edited 1001 Best Ways, Volume 1 released on March 15, 2011 on Amazon.com and Kindle. The book is a collection of crowd-sourced articles which are simultaneously published online, Twitter and FaceBook, and a new volume is scheduled every 42 days.
