Party Pooper Pants

Party Pooper Pants (also known as SpongeBob’s House Party) is a double length SpongeBob SquarePants special episode produced by Nickelodeon. The episode aired in the United States on May, 2002 as part of SpongeBob SquarePants season 3. Party Pooper Pants was sponsored by Wendy’s, the first and only time the company sponsored the show. Later promotions were held by Burger King.
As with the previous special, “Christmas Who”, “Party Pooper Pants” aired as a double-length episode, with the introductions, commercial breaks, and ending shot in live-action with Patchy the Pirate (Tom Kenny). The special premiered on DVD before its broadcast on television, as did many later specials.
Broadcast notes
"Party Pooper Pants" was originally broadcast Friday, May 17, 2002, during Nickelodeon’s "Friday Night Nicktoons" block. The project was a successful promotion with Wendy’s, however, Burger King supported most later special events. The episode aired multiple times after its' premiere, however, it has not aired in regular rotation since 2003.
