The company was founded in 1989 by Roger Connors and Tom Smith. Since 1989 Partners In Leadership has worked with over 700 clients in over 56 countries. Clients that they have worked with include, ADP, Hyatt Corporation, JPMorgan Chase, MetLife and Nestle. They have workshops, keynotes, leadership training, conferences and webinars where they discuss in detail the principle of accountability, and the effect that it can have on individuals and organizations.

The company was founded by Roger Connors and Tom Smith. They have published several articles on management and leadership effectiveness in publications such as the Journal of Business Strategy and Corporate University Review. They appeared on CNBC "Power Lunch," OCN-TV "Prime Story," and KWHY-TV (Los Angeles) "Market Talk." Their radio broadcasts include Business Radio Network, UPI, and Voice of America.

Both men hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Brigham Young University. Connors holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University and Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from University of California, Irvine.

Connors and Smith are members of the Institute of Management Consultants, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the American Society for Training & Development.
