Pariah Burke

Pariah S. Burke is a writer, speaker, consultant, and trainer specializing in desktop publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and QuarkXPress. Burke is an internationally recognized expert on Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, and QuarkXPress, and has been cited on the subjects in numerous print and Internet publications (see References section). He is the author or co-author of several books on Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite. His most recent books include Mastering InDesign CS3 for Print Design and Production and Real World QuarkXPress 7, which he co-wrote with Kelly Anton, Stephen Beals, Shellie Hall, Ted LoCascio, Claudia McCue, Patti Schulze, Glen Turpin, and Chuck Weger, edited by David Blatner. Additionally Burke has authored more than 250 published articles on various subjects for publications such as Publish Magazine, InDesign Magazine, PDFZone, Creativepro.com, InDesignSecrets.com, the Design Weblog (for Weblogs, Inc.), and others. He is the creator of the websites Quark VS InDesign.com, Designorati.com, The Design Weblog (for Weblogs, Inc.), The Magazine Design Weblog (for Weblogs, Inc.), and the (Unofficial) Photoshop Weblog (for Weblogs, Inc.). Burke also created the PageControl plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS-CS3, which is distributed under license by DTP Tools, Inc.
