Pamela Chepiga is an American lawyer, and a partner in the law firm Allen & Overy. Chepiga is notable for leading the team at Allen & Overy working to try to provide legal assistance to captives held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba. The habeas corpus petitions that Chepiga helped file on behalf of fifteen Yemeni captives in Guantanamo, in July 2004, brought to fifty the number of habeas corpus petitions filed on behalf of the captives.<ref name=USAToday20040715/> Chepiga's team filed an amicus brief before the Supreme Court of the United States when it considered Rasul v. Bush.
