Paint America

PaintAmerica is a non-profit organization to support and promote the visual arts, with the goal of providing scholarship and education opportunities for young artists. PaintAmerica was founded by current executive director Rod Seel in 2006. Since its inception in 2006, PaintAmerica has distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to artists through cash awards, painting sales, and scholarships.
About PaintAmerica
PaintAmerica is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association, devoted to providing opportunities for visual artists all across the United States. PaintAmerica's programs build networks within the visual arts arena, connecting artists, galleries, exhibitors, patrons, sponsors, State and Federal organizations and other funding groups for the betterment of our society as a whole. Their goals include funding for youth arts education, working with established artists to be mentors and clinicians for young and emerging artists, and acting as a clearinghouse for arts related grants and opportunities.
PaintAmerica sponsors and operates 2 of the country's leading National Artists' Competitions and Exhibitions:
1) Paint the Parks 100 - The leading National Artists' Competition depicting our nation's National Parks
2) PaintAmerica Top100 - America's foremost competition for representative paintings depicting any of the country's 50 states.
PaintAmerica exhibits are some of the most popular national exhibitions. Their annual exhbitions at the Kolb Studio at the Grand Canyon are seen by hundreds of thousands of visitors. Other exhibit venues have included The St. George Art Gallery (Utah), The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis, MO; the RW Norton Museum, Shreveport, LA; The Indiana Welcome Center; Southwind Gallery and Westboro Fine Arts in Topeka, KS; and Brown vs. Board National Historic Site, Topeka, KS.
