An acronym for Pop In and (then) Piss Off as used in British culture. The term P.I.P.O. was first coined by the president of a leading U.S.-based international airline in response to an off-the-cuff remark from a UK-based business partner at the 2008 Passenger Terminal Exposition in Amsterdam.
P.I.P.O. directly refers to the English practise of attending an event or party for a brief period of time (Pop In), making ones presence noticed, and then leaving a very short time later (Piss Off) with the obligation of attending said function fulfilled.
