Oracle Island

Oracle Island is one of four fictional islands and 17 islets in the Thyrnkaye Region, on the planet Areo, in a universe called Xejjaszuh.
It appears in (not yet released) The Turbulence Series by Roman Insana.
Extraordinary Properties of Oracle Island
The Island
Oracle Island itself is actually an artificial island, constructed by genius illusionist, con man, mathematician, history buff, and scientist Daniel Mujmo.
The island, although made of dirt, rocks, etc. like an ordinary island, is actually a floating structure, with a depth in the ocean of about 1,000 miles.
The Tube System
Quite possibly the most important property of the island, the Tube System is a massive construction of perfectly circular underground tunnels that connect the 4 islands and 17 islets, as well as certain locations on islands.
The Tube System has several unique characteristics. For instance, the Tube System keeps the island afloat. Although, it is unknown how it does this.
It also seems to be able to control the island, making normally inanimate objects such as trees and rocks extremely dangerous at times.
The most noteable characteristic is that it seems to have some kind of conciousness.
The Prophecy Cube
Another very important propery of Oracle Island, the Prophecy Cube is a crystal cube, which spins above a small "altar" or "pillar" in the middle of Oracle Island's largest forest--which, ironically, is also it's only unnamed forest.
Each side of the Prophecy Cube is a different color, and depending on which side you touch, you can either travel backwards in time or forwards in time, temporarily stop time, or completely change an event in the near future, among other dangerous things. The Prophecy Cube is so dangerous that even sinister Shine insists on protecting it.
Shines obsession with keeping the Prophecy Cube safe at the end of Turbulence, the third book of the series, leads 12-year-old super-genius Sarah Manimo to believe the cube is actually some kind of "magic trick toy" he is using to have fun with the other people on the island. However, when Sarah breaks the Prophecy Cube in Flashback, the fourth book of the series, her corporeal body is sent 10 years in the future, and her mind winds up traveling between the present (July 27th 2008), the future (July 27th 2018), and the past (July 27th 1997).
