You can navigate the website either by going to the different states  or by typing in a person's name. You can expect to find information such as full address and/or telephone number, in some instances additional information will be provided. Certain profiles on the website are also accompanied by Google Street view  which facilitates the usability of the website.

The information that is supplied on Opensear.ch  is part of what is known as public domain, it does not contain any "private information", this information is typically found in people and business directories. While being extremely useful it's impossible to do any real harm to a person using this information, because it does not contain things like social insurance number or date of birth or mother's maiden name.

Site visitors can easily remove their information from the website by following a link which is supplied under each profile. Once a removal request has been filed its going to be processed almost immediately and removed after it has been reviewed. 

Currently there are no mechanisms in place  which can be used in order to add profiles to the website. There are also no mechanisms in place which allow you to modify an existing profile so if you are unhappy with what you are seeing you can choose to delete the profile completely.
