Open sources of information include the surface Internet, the deep Web, and electronic mail, as well as traditional media sources inclusive of niche media or industry-specific newsletters and online discussion groups. They include gray literature, subject-matter experts, and individuals have direct observation or life experience knowledge. Temporary note: the intent of this page is to give sponsors of sources, both free and for fee, a place where they can link to their individual pages consistent with policy against advertising. Most helpful is one line here linking to the organizations wiki page with a simple paragraph that describes the offering's relevance to the Open source intelligence discipline, and a discreet link to one's home page.
