Oluwatomiwa Akinola

Oluwatomiwa Balqees Akinola is a Nigerian entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Miwa Signature, a sex therapy and beauty brand. She is regarded for having an impact in women's health as well as owning one of the largest therapy lounges in Nigeria.
Early life and Career
Oluwatomiwa was born and raised in Nigeria where she had finished her primary and secondary school education. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Her parents divorced when she was a child, after thirteen years of marriage.
In 2014, she started selling skin care products, but ventured into aphrodisiacs in 2016, when her mentor taught her the art of the trade. As a result of initial negative criticism from people who called her business diabolic, she had to skip school for a semester in order to focus and rebrand her business.
She decided to continue the Sex therapy business as she saw it as a way of helping marriages last.
Improved public awareness and understanding of the sex therapy industry in the country led to the growth of her business into one of the largest sex-therapy practices in Nigeria.
