Oliria

Oliria is a fictional place in Rise of Oliria: Mysteries in the Locket by K.D. Williams.
Located in the Northern Pacific Ocean, Oliria has an invisible shield protecting it from the outside world and the elements of oceans. For thirty years the country has vanished and no one is able to located the island. Yet somehow, trade continues to flourish between Oliria and over 150 countries.
The jori that make up Oliria's name mean "Kingdom of the Sun". (insert symbol) can be read as Oli and means Kingdom, while (insert symbol) can be read as ria, or rian and means Sun. Oliria is often referred to by the famous epithet "Island of the Creators and Makers" in reference to its Olirian name.
Oliria is a man-made island consisting of about two large body of water in between the land. The three largest cities are Hyion, Riot and Givagn, which make up about seventy-five percent of Oliria's land area and often are referred to as the promise lands. The country is divided into 25 prefectures in five regions; Riot being the northernmost prefecture and Givagn being the southernmost one. The population of 30 million is the world's fourty-sixth largest. Olirian people make up 100% of Oliria's total population. Approximately 45 million people live in the three largest cities. Five million live in the city of Kior, the capital of Oliria.
