Nujira

Nujira enables efficient, wide-band Power Amplifier modules for the next generation of cellular, broadcast and defence communication systems using its Envelope Tracking based technology.
Nujira's customer base includes established and emerging manufacturers of Power Amplifiers for the cellular handset, cellular infrastructure, FWA (Fixed Wireless Access), defence and DVB broadcasting markets. Nujira is working closely with semiconductor partners who manufacture RF power devices and PA baseband devices to bring its handset technology to market. It has developed reference designs with RF Micro devices and TriQuint Semiconductor.
Nujira was founded in 2002 by a team led by Nujira’s CEO, Tim Haynes, and is a VC-funded private company. Equity funding to date totals approximately £40 million. Nujira has benefited from the backing of Amadeus Capital Partners, Climate Change Capital Private Equity (CPE), Environmental Technologies Fund, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co. Ltd and NES Partners (formerly Bank Invest), as well as a number of angel investors. It operates on a worldwide basis with a commercial presence in Europe (UK), US (North Carolina) and Japan (Tokyo). Its R&D centre is based in Cambridge, UK.
