Norton Level Crossing is a level crossing in the North of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The railway crossing here is the Askern Branch Line, however there are currently no passenger trains using this line, only freight trains to Ferrybridge, Eggborough and Drax power stations. Passenger trains may cross here during diversions from the East Coast Main Line.
The Level Crossing is a full barrier Level Crossing with a signal box next to the level crossing. From December 2009 there is planned to be a scheduled passenger service in the form of a Grand Central train from London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange. Doncaster Metropolitan Council have plans to re-open the Railway station for local Passenger Trains.
