Neurophysiology of Movement Lab

The Neurophysiology of Movement Laboratory is a research laboratory in the Department of Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The laboratory is equipped with a Faraday cage and several instruments used to make recordings of muscle activity, called the electromyogram.
Research interests
In general, the lab studies the neuromuscular mechanisms that account for short- and long-term adaptations experienced by humans as a result of physical activity. The activites of the lab are focused around three main topics; muscle fatigue, aging, and reflex modulation during stepping.
