Neeraj Gupta (journalist)

Neeraj Gupta (born 7 July 1977) is an Indian journalist, media personality and cartoonist. He is the founder and Editor in Chief of Parliamentary Business. He has authored and edited 11 editions of 'Representatives at Work' since 2010, the annual research report book of Parliament and Parliamentarians performance. He also started a campaign based on promoting voter awareness "Vote for India", which is supported by Election Commission of India.
Education & Career
He did his graduation from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University in 1996 and masters in Political Science in 1998.
Neeraj Gupta started his career as a cartoonist from the Daily Nava Bharat in Madhya Pradesh, and has served many media companies such as IBN-7 and Dainik Jagran. He also worked as a Cartoonist in Rediff News.
In 2006, his exhibition ‘Sansad Par Hamla’ held at All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society Delhi, became a big hit that time. Since then he held many other exhibitions based on subject of social and public awareness across the country.
Philanthropy
He is also associated with an NGO Mass for Awareness, under which he launched 'Vote for India' campaign in 2013, aa campaign of rising awareness of voting rights in India and supported by Election Commission of India. During this campaign he launched a mascot named "Mr. Votu", which was the first Indian Mascot, got support from millions of people, for this campaign he has nominated in Limca Book of Records.
Bibliography
Neeraj Gupta wrote a research report book "Representatives at Work" and edited 11 editions since 2010. This book is based on Lok Sabha Member's performance (rating & ranking) report of respective Lok Sabha sessions. 5 years performance of Lok Sabha research report book was launched by Lok Sabha speaker hon'ble Sumitra Mahajan, at Parliament House.
