Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi

Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi is an upcoming Malayalam drama movie directed and co-produced by Sameer Thahir under the banner Happyhours Entertainment in association with E4 Entertainment. The film features Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role with Sunny Wayne in supporting role. This is Sammer Thahir's second movie after Chaappa Kurishu which was well received by the box office and critics both alike The film began shooting in Nagaland in February, 2013 and is expected to hit the screens by August, 2013. The film is expected to be the first Road trip movie in Malayalam language and revolves around two college students who go on a road trip to Nagaland from Kerala. About his role in the film, Sunny says, “We play college friends who go on a road trip from Kerala to Nagaland on our motorbikes. The interesting incidents on the way and the reason behind the trip form the plot.”
According to sources in the industry, despite its picturesque landscape, filmmakers have always stayed away from the region citing security reasons. They also point out that the hard terrain with its hilly regions make it difficult to shoot there. However, Sameer is all set to take up the challenge and is looking forward to the Nagaland shoot.
