A necanthrope is an evolved state of Ebb users in the SLA Industries World of Progress. Specifically it happens to members of the Ebon race after having achieved a high degree of understanding of the Ebb. The transformation happens after the Ebon has entered The White and returned. This process first requires the individual to be killed and the body then injected into The White. Inside the Ebon will face a number of difficult challenges and will most likely distort the Ebon both physically and mentally, resulting in a radically different appearance or mental state. Perversions of any nature are common among necanthropes, not least sexual perversions.
