Nations Afire is a five-piece rock band from Los Angeles, California that was formed in 2009. The band consists of current/former members from Rise Against, Ignite, and Death by Stereo. The band is a mixture of punk rock, melodic rock and hardcore rock. History Nations Afire, formed in early 2009, features Guitarist Chris Chasse who has also played guitar for Rise Against on the albums Siren Song of the Counter Culture and The Sufferer & the Witness. The band also features bassist Brett Rasmussen, and his band partner Nik Hill who are members of the band Ignite. Drummer Todd Hennig has also played drums for the band Death By Stereo for their albums Into the Valley of Death and Death for Life.
