National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato

The National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato (Filipino: Pambansang Dambana ng Ina Poon Bato) is one of the main Cathedrals of the Apostolic Catholic Church and serves as the pontifical seat of the Patriarch of the Apostolic Catholic Church, Juan Almario E.M. Calampiano.
History
The National Shrine of Ina Poon Bato is located at 1003 EDSA, Project 7, Veterans Village, Quezon City, Philippines.
First chapel
The first Ina Poon Bato church was once located at the northern end of EDSA in the community of Agham - Diliman. It was established in the 1980s and at the time was only a chapel. A monthly Cursillo class was held at the chapel.
However, due to a government project under former President Joseph Estrada, the chapel was demolished to make way for the MRT-3 and its last train station on North Avenue.
Current shrine
The current shrine was built as a replacement for the chapel that was destroyed by the MRT project. At the time, the Apostolic Catholic Church did not anticipate that the shrine, intended as a temporary replacement for the chapel, would become a national shrine and a cathedral.
