Nathan Lee

Nathan Lee (born September 26, 2001) is an American pianist. He has received awards at the regional, national, and international levels.
Career
Lee began playing piano at the age of six and currently studies under the tutelage of Sasha Starcevich.
His achievements include earning First Place in the 2015 e-Piano Junior International Competition and First Place in the 2012-2013 MTNA National Junior Piano Performance Competition. Lee was the winner of the Seattle Symphony Young Artists Auditions and the Seattle Young Artists Concerto Competition where he was awarded the Festival Medal twice.

Lee made his orchestral debut at age 9 with the Munster Hochschule Orchestra of Germany and has since performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony, Coeur d’Alene Symphony, Ashdod Symphony of Israel, Orquesta de la Univesidad de Alicante from Spain, and Northwest Philharmonic under the batons of Uri Segal, Ludovic Morlot, and Sergei Babayan among others.

Lee has given solo recitals in Italy, Korea, and the United States. and has performed numerous Three Generations Concerts with Ilana Vered and Sasha Starcevich in the Basilica di San Pietro and Sala dei Notari in Italy.

Lee has also played in master classes given by noted pianists including Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Sergei Babayan, Gary Graffman, Jerome Lowenthal, Peter Frankl, Ilana Vered, Alexander Korsantia, Christopher Elton, Joseph Kalichstein, Mikhail Petukhov, and John Perry.
Lee participates in private and charity events regularly, and has taken part in Seattle Symphony Opening Night Galas where he shared the stage with Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Lang Lang to raise funds for music education. He has made guest appearances for non-profit organizations including Instruments for Change and Ten Grands.
