Nat Powers

Nat Powers (born Nathaniel Jeffrey on 4 June 1986) is a British rapper, producer and multi-talentened musician from Leicester, England who became the first British-Rapper to sign with a Westcoast rap affiliated artist in the history of Hip Hop.Sam Sneed signed Nat in 2010, acting as his Manager and Mentor.
Career
Early Years
In 1999, he began writing lyricism after a five year period of personally picking up Poetry from his father. Soon after, he began Producing and Mastering providing himself with all the factors of Music he needed. Along with this, he also continued weekly lessons in Drumming, Keyboards and Percussion. He enrolled onto a local Music Technology course in 2003, passing the final mark with a distinction, grading at the 3rd highest in the UK. He continued to work for MTV Hits, performing in clubs around the UK to boost his Musical presence, soon fading out leading him back to Writing an Producing. He also Illustrates, Designs and Paints, giving him a broad spectrum of creativity.
Record Deals
In 2010 he landed a Deal with Rapper and Producer Sam Sneed. Sam acts as his Manager and Mentor, working with him on his upcoming solo LP, slated for a 2012 release.
During May 2011, he flew out to Atlanta, Georgia to sign his deal with Sam Sneed. During his stay there he developed a close friendship and working relationship with Danny Boy, recording music at Nustarz studio's in Decatur, Georgia and securing plans to assist Danny with his next Studio Album.
Two months after returning to the U.K., he joined Snoop Dogg at Lovebox Festival in London during July.
In September 2011, he landed an Exclusive Record Deal with Curtis Young, son of Dr.Dre. He is signed as the Exclusive Producer to Young, embarking him on a multitude of Production Credits to come, including possible TV work and Movie Soundtrack Production.
Current projects
Nat Powers is currently writing a book, for which he secure a Publishing deal for whilst in Atlanta, Georgia with well-known Writer and Publisher Kimothy A.Clarke.
His Partner, and CEO Curtis Young is currently working on his debut album "Product of my DNA", to which a feature-film is also being planned for release at the same time in mid 2012. Nat Powers will be responsible for most of the album and soundtrack, taking his music from the speakers to the Cinema Screen.
