Namik Paul

Namik Paul is an Indian actor and model.
Having started his acting career off with Qubool Hai as Ehsaan, Namik Paul bagged his first major role with the character of Shravan Malhotra, the astute Oxford-graduate lawyer, in the much appreciated romantic, slice-of-life drama Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. The character and his performance has since gained him immense popularity and fan-following among all age-groups, alongside his co-star Nikita Dutta.
Early life and family
Namik Paul is an Indian actor and model from Dehradun, India. His family consists of his mother, father, sister, and his German Shepherd, Hobbes. He completed his schooling at a boarding school in Mussoorie, New Delhi where he was an active member of the school's drama and theatre groups and graduated from college in America.
Career
Upon graduating from college, he joined NDTV in Delhi and trained to be a reporter. Post his time at NDTV he pursued modelling and professional theatre, also in Delhi. Finally in 2014, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. Paul first appeared in the 4th season of Qubool Hai as the character of Ehsaan, opposite Additi Gupta before quitting shortly thereafter to pursue greater opportunities. Upon going through an extensive audition process, he was finalized to star as the male lead opposite Nikita Dutta in Bindu & SJ Productions' next, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. In Ek Duje Ke Vaaste he plays the role of Shravan Malhotra, a suave, sharp, and astute Oxford-graduate lawyer reconnecting with his childhood friend and love Suman Tiwari. This role has gotten him much recognition, and continues to do so.
