Nadine Al Haraki

Nadine Al Haraki or Nadine Alhraki (, born around 1991) is a Syrian refugee who educates young people in the Zaatari refugee camp on reproductive health. For her work, she was invited to speak in the United Nations General Assembly in 2016, at a conference on young people and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Life
Nadine Al Haraki was born in Syria. She studied geography at the Damascus University, and got married during the third year at the university. When the Syrian civil war started, she and her husband fled to Jordan.
Questscope has partnered with United Nations Population Fund, and through their cooperation, she was able to represent the Zaatari camp during a train the trainers session in crisis and humanitarian situations at the Dead Sea in 2015.<ref name=":1" />
In 2016, she was invited as representative for Questscope to speak at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, at a conference for adolescents and youth focusing on the sustainable development goals.<ref name":1" /> She spoke about asylum and the situation for youth and women in the camp.<ref name":3" />
UNFPA highlighted her in their publication of prominent icons and activists during the last 50 years.<ref name=":0" />
