Nabibakhsh Mansoori was born in Idar a small village of Gujarat. He secured his Diploma from Seth C. N. College of Fine arts, Ahmedabad and Post Diploma in Fine Arts (Creative Paintings) from M.S. University, Baroda. His Accolades include the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi award, Fellowship award from the Ministry of Human Resources, Outstanding young person award from Gandhinagar Junior Chamber. He is one of the distinguished recipients of the Bendre-Husain Scholarship of Bombay art society in 1999. His solo exhibitions have been held at many places like Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Surat. His work has also been featured in Sotheby’s auction held at New York in September 1998 and at London in June 1999.He lives and works in Gandhinagar.
