Murad Ali Shah Bukerai

Murad Ali Shah Bukerai (born 19 October 1974) is an Pakistani cartoonist, illustrator ,graphic artist writer and journalist. He is also an award-winning Cartoonist. He currently draws cartoons for a Sindhi language newspaper Daily Ibrat .

Early life
Murad Ali Shah Bukerai was born in 19 October 1974 in Bukera Sharif a town of district Tando Allahyar. Currently he resides in Hyderabad.

Education
Bukerai received early education at Govt. Primary School and Govt. Middle School at Bukera Sharif (1986), Intermediate from Govt. S. M. College Tando Allahyar. He graduated with BA in 2005 and MA in 2007 from Sindh University .

Career
Murad Ali Shah Bukerai started drawing when he was 11. He started cartooning at 1990 and was first published in a Sindhi newspaper Daily Ibrat. Bukerai started his career as an reprter of Hyederabad based Daily Sarwan at Bukera Sharif in 1990, and later he joined as a Sub Editor in 1993, also he started work as a reguller cartoonist . In 1996, Bukerai joined Hyederabad based Daily Sawal as a News Editor and Cartoonist. In 1999, he joined Daily Sach. Currently he works with Daily Ibrat as a cartoonist, sub editor and graphic designer.
His cartoons and articles have been published in various Sindhi newspapers and magazines like Daily Ibrat, DailySarwan, Daily Sawal, Daily Mehran, Daily Awami Aawaz, Daily Jago, Daily Barsat, Daily Hilal-E-Pakisran, Daily Sawal, Daily Sach, Daily Sindhu, Daily Alakh, Weekly Sindhu, Monthly Peoples Time, Fortnightly Ibrat Magazine.

Award
He won "Best cartoonist award" in 2004 from All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS).
Also won "Best cartoonist award" in 2001 from Nawab Shah Journalist Foum.
