Mridul Kachawa

Mridul Kachawa (born 30 August 1989) is the DCP South Jaipur and an IPS Officer of Rajasthan in the Indian Police Service of the 2015 batch. He has served as the of Karauli and Dholpur.
Education
Mridul Kachawa is originally a resident of Gangashahar in Bikaner district. He has also cleared CA and CS exam before clearing UPSC exam with 216th rank in the year 2014. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Business.
Career
He wanted to become an Army officer but failed to do so later in second attempt became IPS officer in 2015.
Since January 2022, he is the DCP South, Jaipur. Earlier, he was the SP Of Dholpur and then Karauli. Apart from this, He served as SP in ACB Ajmer, CO Ganganagar Rural and ASP Bhilwara.
Achievements
He caught 44 dacoits in 11 months during his SP tenure in Dholpur. On 3rd December 2021, Mridul Kachawa was awarded with DGP's Disk Award.
