Mr. Borndeads Feast

Mr Borndeads Feast was the first official album of Serbian industrial group dreDDup. This LP was released for the Holland label MoocSound records. It was recorded during the NATO bombardment of the Serbia in 1999 and finished in 2004. It took five years for its
release because the conditions in the country were very low. The story of this album takes us back through time to the boundaries of civilization struggle for survival and back to present. Mr Borndeads Feast also talks about the feast someone left behind himself. On the cover of the CD dreDDup talks about the feast of "anyone" and "no one". It could be Walt Disney, Hitler, Jesus Christ, Bill Gates, Clive Barker or Alexander the Great. The title is purposely misspelled.
It was first released in 2004 for the local audience and then officially in 2005 for MoocSound records. The album saw its re-release in 2007 when Dadaist Audio and Coreback Music decided to release it again. Album was later re-mastered and cleaned up so the net-labels released it again as a re-mastered release in 2008.

This dead man is someone important and the problem is when you can not disconnect with the deadman and you all become Mr. Borndeads. This dead man can be anyone who lived in the past and is now present more than ever, from Alexander the Great to Walt Disney, Hitler, Jesus or Gandhi. Anyone. And the todays world feasts upon the dead mans world and his way of thinking. On this album, we talk about the problem of the past, about the problem of the dead mans feast and the problem about yourselves - the Mr. Borndeads. We talk about childhood days, the energy of the pure born beings and the filth of the outside world. Some songs are catchy, but don't be fooled, it is all for a reason, it's not catchy, it's Mr. Borndeads Feast."
