Moulai Hasan Fir

Syedi Hasan Fir is the 14th AD century holy Taiyabi Bohra saint who is buried in Den Mal, Gujarat, India (death:23rd Muharramul Haram 795 H). His grave is visited by Bohra pilgrims from all over the world. The tomb complex includes mosques, gardens, and international class accommodation facilities for visitors.
In the generation of Moulai Bharmal, Moulai Yaqoob, Moulais Ishaq, Ali, and Hasan Fir continued one after another as Wali-ul-Hind(care taker of Dai in India). Hasan Fir Shaeed was the fifth wali in the era of 16th Dai Abadullah (d. 809AH/1406 AD) of Yemen.
The 31st Dai, Syedna Kasimkhan Zainuddin was his descendent. He was well known for his wisdom. He had solved many trivial questions during his lifetime. There is a 'riwayat'(tell) where the Roman Emperor sent three identical heads to Feroz Shah, the king of Gujarat, to decipher which of the three heads was of greatest value. None whom the king called could solve the problem. Then he was told about Maulai Hassan- Fir-Shaheed who was invited to solve the query. Maulai Hassan-Fir poured water into the ear of each head. In the case of the first head, the water trickled through the mouth and he said this is the head of a 'ahmaq' (who can’t digest information and create problems). For the second, it trickled through the other ear and he said this was the head of a 'jaahil' (fool). Finally in the third it trickled through the throat into the chest and said that this was the head of an 'aaqil' (intelligent person). Hence he explained that the third head held the greatest value. The king was greatly impressed and presented him with an area of land which is now known as Denmal. He fell victim to his enemies and became 'shaheed'.
