Morpheus Global University (formerly South Asia University), is an international distance learning university, with origins in Thailand, but currently headquartered in London.
History
The University was founded in 1970 as a small college offering English language training in Thailand and Malaysia. It was expanded in 1974 into the South Asia College Of Advance Management Studies and Research later renamed as South Asia University, and again to the present name on 1st of January 2009. It's a Private University giving education in various subjects via a Distance Mode.
The University has its existence in Argentina, USA, UK, The Netherlands, India, South Africa and New Zealand.

University Claims Membership and Affiliations from United Nations Global Compact, Guide Association, International Council for Open and Distance Education, Distance Education Association of Southern Africa, Virginia Society for Technology in Education, World Council for Distance Education Schools, Federation of World Independent Schools and many more.
"It is not recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Without recognition of the "accreditation agency" by USDE and CHEA or an entity in the country where the accreditor is located, such accreditation may not be considered in CHEA but acceptable for jobs in market.
