Morgan Page

Early Life
Morgan Page began composing music with an electronic orientation at the age of 12 . At age 15 his productions began to appear on local college radio stations and commercial stations on a weekly basis in his hometown of Burlington, Vermont. Before graduation, Page got his own radio program "WRUV 90.1 FM" at The University of Vermont, filling in for a friend on a popular Saturday night slot. This turned into a weekly endeavor that introduced Morgan to the large amount of electronic music that was growing along with him.

When Page listened to Terry Lee Brown Jr.'s "Chocolate Chords", Swayzak's "Snowboarding in Argentina" and Barada's "Strategies For A Deeper Design", tech-house became an obsession and a way of life to him. During the summer of his last years in high school Morgan moved with Rick Salzer at Plastic City (US) who introduced him to the music of the Timewriter and the world of the music industry. He was inspired by the sound and vision of Plastic City, Morgan saved up all his money and began buying his own studio instruments like his Akai MPC2000 and a few synthesizers.

Rising Fame
Morgan says to have written the "Maple Grooves EP" on an August evening for Salzer's Fiji imprint. Now with several remixes under his belt for Grammy nominated group Wax Poetic, Nigel Hayes, Home & Garden and some EP's on labels like Nordic Trax, Fiji, and Chalant with the support from the "number 1 DJ in the world of 2001" John Digweed, Josh Wink, Kenny Hawkes, Alexi Delano, Atjazz, Terry Lee Brown Jr., and Nick Holder.

Currently he is living in Los Angeles and is working as a "desk jockey" by day and producer by night. His music has gained support from a wide-range of top level DJs including, Sasha "number 1 Dj in the world of 2002", Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, Mark Farina, and Jason Bentley. Several companies have also chosen Morgan's music to set the tone for their movies, tv shows, and retail stores including: Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Chanel, Adidas, Nike, Abercrombie & Fitch, Ecko Clothing, and The Showtime Chann.

In 2002 Page released his first album, "Drifting Into View" which features vocals by Colette, the album has recieved a good response from it's audience like "Seven Magazine", Montreal Mirror, URB and other "Press Commentaies".
