Moran Mano

Moran Mano is a businessman who is active in the maritime, hospitality and real estate industries. He is the Honorary Consu<nowiki/>l of the Republic of Moldova to the State of Israe<nowiki/>l and acting as the Vice President of Mano Maritime Ltd.
Was born in Haifa, Israel. Married to Alina Mano and have two daughters. Moran Mano graduated in the United Kingdom Maritime Business, and Maritime Law ,L.L.M
Biography
In 1932, at the height of the Fifth Aliyah (1929-1939), Moran Mano’s grandfather, Mordechai Mano, emigrated with his parents from Thessaloniki, Greece to what is now Israel, along with other Greek workers who contributed to the construction of the Port of Haifa.Abba Hushi, who was head of the Workers’ Council in Haifa at the time, traveled to Thessaloniki in order to persuade Jewish workers to make Aliyah. Among the 100 families that agreed to relocate were members of the Mano family including Mordechai, who was only 12 years old at the time. This relocation allowed the families to escape the Holocaust, during which the Jews in Thessaloniki were persecuted and killed.
Moshe Mano, the father of Moran Mano, is the founder, President and CEO of the Mano Holdings Group, which includes Mano Maritime Ltd., Mano Holidays Ltd. and Bambook Properties Ltd.the youngest son of Mordechai Mano.
Social and community activities
Moran Mano is the Honorary Consul of Republic of Moldova to the State of Israel, and active in developing the bilateral relations between the Republic of Moldova and Israel. In addition, he is active in the Israel Chamber of Shipping as well as a representative of Mano Maritime Ltd in the Chamber of Commerce (Haifa & North of Israel)
