Mohiudeen Wood LLC is based in Ajman and also at the Hamriyah Industrial Free Zone in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and is a subsidiary company of the BA Thumbay Group.
Mohiudeen Wood LLC was established in the year 1992 in the Emirate of Ajman by Mr. B M Ashraf who is a leading Indian business entrepreneur. Mohiudeen Wood LLC was the first sawmill in the Gulf and also the first to import whole round logs from various regions of the globe and also ranks as the first sawmill to supply the UAE and GCC markets with timber that was sawn locally at their sawmills in Ajman. The set up of a full fledged sawmill in the UAE was a complete shift from the traditional approach, as sawmills normally tend to be situated on the fringe of a forest or close by to a source of raw material. This vision was the brain child of current Managing Director Mr. B M Ashraf, who has drawn upon his vast experience and heritage in the timber and sawmilling trade to single-handedly change the face of the sawmilling and timber industry of the UAE.
