Mohammad Asrar Rehbar (born 8 April 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder while captaining Bengaluru United, which plays in the Bangalore Super Division and I-League 2nd Division. Asrar has captained FC Bengaluru United for Bangalore Super Division and played a vital role for their season with 8 goals in 11 games. Asrar has played for clubs for Real Kashmir FC, SD Lenense & Lonestar Kashmir F.C. He has won many awards in his state team and many individual trophies as well. Early life Asrar started playing football at the age of 12. During his primary school time he was playing locally at Sanat Nagar ground. After this he gave trials for school team (Burn Hall) and was selected. In following year he won inter school and state tournaments. Asrar was selected for nationals level tournaments following his performances. He since then took part in 7 national level tournaments. He also had also played Durand Cup twice and also put his mark there while scoring in that competition too. He has also Played 2 Santosh trophies for his state. Career In early 2017, Rehbar was one among to footballers from Jammu and Kashmir selected to play for SD Lenense, a third-division club in the Spanish football system. He had previously represented his home State of Jammu and Kashmir in the Santosh Trophy tournament. Playing for SD Lenense, Rehbar scored two goals on debut. Following his return from Spain, he was signed by Lonestar Kashmir, with who he played in the I-League 2nd Division. Rehbar previously had a stint with the club before moving to Real Kashmir. He re-signed with Lonestar Kashmir following the insistence of his "hero" Ishfaq Ahmed. In 2019, Rehbar signed a three-year contract with Bengaluru United, which played in the Bangalore Super Division, the third division of India's football league system. On 21 December, he scored his first hat-trick for the club in the 4-0 win against Bangalore Independents. The third goal came as a solo effort as Rehbar took the ball at the halfway line and dribbled past two defenders before converting past goalkeeper Anandu N. K. Asrar represented Bangalore United in the 2nd division I-League 2020 before the league curtailed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, he appearing in every match and scored a Hatrick against Mumbai City FC Reserves. Asrar continued with Bangalore United in the I-League 2nd Division final round which was the first sporting event to be conducted in India since the Pandemic having made 6 appearances and scoring once against Ara FC.
