Mock chop

A Mock chop is a meat dish available from Scottish fish and chip shops . It is thought to be reprocessed lamb kebab type meat fried in batter and is almost mythical in Scotland.
Speculation on origin
Posizione Liberare ("Pepo") was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on the 11 May 1947 to Italian Parents, Arabo and Zingaro, His parents owned the renowned Dandy Don view chip shop on the city's prosperous northern fringe, While working in the shop Pepo set about creating the famous Scottish delicacy which he initially named "il castrato violinista" <citation needed>
Its also rumoured that this renown delicacy was first fried in the city of Dundee in the early 1930's.
