Mithun Roy Chowdhury () is a Bangladeshi environmental activist . He is the President of Save Nature & Wildlife(SNW). As an environmental activist he exhorted the people of Bangladesh to raise their voices against the Tipaimukh Dam, which is being constructed by the Government of India. He said Tipaimukh Dam project would be another “death trap for Bangladesh, like the Farakka Barrage” that would lead to environmental disaster for 50 million people in the Meghna River basin. He said that this project would start desertification in Bangladesh.
Mithun Roy Chowdhury is the youngest son of former Minister of Bangladesh Advocate Nitai Roy Chowdhury.
